With four promotions across the business, Castle Green Homes is building a strong team from within, helping staff develop the tools they need to progress.
Two of the promotions have been at managerial level. Bert Bonatti has stepped up from senior contracts manager to area construction manager. Lindsey Dilworth, who was previously field sales manager, is now sales manager.
In the commercial department, Tom Fletcher has moved up the career ladder from assistant quantity surveyor to quantity surveyor, while former trainee surveyor Jacob Edwards has become an assistant quantity surveyor.
Bert, Lindsey and Tom have all been with the business since before the management buyout and subsequent rebranding of Macbryde Homes.
Lindsey has more than 20 years’ experience of selling new homes and has worked for what is now known as Castle Green Homes for almost 10 years. She was field sales manager for just over two years prior to her most recent promotion to sales manager.
Lindsey said: “The range of market conditions I’ve experienced over the course of my career is invaluable when it comes to supporting the sales team, offering guidance and advice. It’s vital to the business that we deliver on sales targets, but at the same time, I’m always looking at ways to improve the customer journey for our home buyers.”
Bert, who has worked for the company for seven years, said: “I just love coming to work. I have watched the company grow and grow. I have a great support team around me, which makes things easier for me – I could not be with a better team.”
Tom joined the business four years ago with no experience or understanding of the roles and responsibility of a quantity surveyor, but with drive and determination to make a success of his career.
He’s now a fully-fledged QS and is on track for a 2:1 grade in his degree, which is incredible for someone completing this while juggling work commitments.
Jacob began his career with Castle Green in October 2021 as a trainee and quickly became a valued member of the team.
Now an assistant quantity surveyor, he’s been involved in a great mixture of commercial responsibilities from tenders and payments to budget processes.
From its North Wales heartland, Castle Green is expanding into the North West of England. The business has offices at St Asaph and at Preston Brook, near Warrington.
