With 90% of homes at a popular development in St Asaph now sold, buyers are being urged to act now to avoid disappointment.
The final countdown is well underway at Maes yr Haul. Just 13 of the 130 private sale homes being built by Castle Green Homes on Upper Denbigh Road are still available.
Sales director Sian Pitt said: “Homes at Maes yr Haul were initially released for sale off plan in response to demand, before show homes opened last September. Our new homes in St Asaph have been hugely popular and we’ve now sold more than 90% of the properties, including the four show homes. While availability here is now limited and we’ve sold out of some house types, the final 13 homes offer plenty of choice. There’s a good mix of properties including two, three and four-bedroom designs including some eligible to be purchased using Help to Buy Wales.”
Prices at Maes yr Haul start from £195,995 for a two-bedroom Oakley–style property.
This and other homes priced under £300,000 are eligible to be purchased using Help to Buy – Wales. The Government backed scheme, which closes in March 2025, offers the chance to secure a new home with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, with the remaining 20% covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years.
In the Oakley the lounge is at the front, leading through to the combined kitchen and dining room, which in turn opens out onto the rear garden. Both bedrooms are doubles, plus there’s plenty of storage upstairs and downstairs. There’s also a convenient cloakroom to complement the main bathroom.
“Designed to maximise the potential of the space available, the Oakley is an ideal starter home,” Sian added. “There’s plenty of storage, making it great option for a young family. It’s equally well-suited to friends buying together or perhaps someone living on their own who works from home and wants to use the second bedroom as an office.”
Castle Green’s new homes in St Asaph are located in an area with broad appeal. Local amenities include a choice of schools, sports clubs, plus cute cafes and cosy pubs, plus the North Wales towns of Rhyl, Prestatyn, Abergele, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno are all easily accessible.
Show homes at Maes yr Haul are open daily from 10am to 5pm. For more information see here.
