Creating The Perfect Home, Brick By Brick

Tuesday, 01st March 2022

With its giant brick bedside cabinets, statement light-fitting and character furnishings, the LEGO-themed bedroom in Willow Fields’ Wiltshire show home is a nine-year-old’s dream.

But creating that, and any of the other rooms in the four new show homes at Castle Green’s Warrington development, is anything but child’s play.

With the help of expert stylists from Lifestyle Interiors, the developer has designed a range of looks and styles demonstrating how its homes are perfect for a host of customers, from first-time buyers to families, including those able to lavish a little luxury on themselves as well as those seeking functionality and affordability.

And, like the Castle Green properties themselves, the designers have followed the LEGO motto instilled by founder Ole Kirk Christiansen that “only the best is good enough”.

Caryl Russell, sales and marketing director for Castle Green Homes, said: “Our new homes at Willow Fields on part of the Omega site in Warrington are ideal for many buyers, whether they already live in the area or wish to move here.

“And they are perfect for those at any stage of life, which is what we have aimed to illustrate with our four individual show homes. Each has been decorated and furnished to show how these properties could look as real homes, how a family or an individual might design and create their home, depending on their needs and who they are.”

She added: “They have been well received by visitors and those who’ve viewed the show homes on our social media channels. They’ve organically reached over 7million accounts – with over 319,000 people individually engaging with them, which is unprecedented in our industry.”

Willow Fields, on part of the former Burtonwood Airbase, will eventually feature 145 two, three and four-bedroom properties, including 19 which will be offered to young first-time buyers at discounted prices. There are four show homes to inspire buyers –the Wiltshire, Stratford, Marlow and Wentworth.

Given the proximity to homeware giant IKEA, the three-bedroom semi-detached Marlow show home, illustrates great design on a budget. It’s been furnished with IKEA’s Besta furniture range in the dining and living space, with benches and TV units that create practical and affordable family areas.

Downstairs, the clean, white furniture opens out the space, while soft pastel pinks and greys create a warm and homely feel, and pops of black add depth and contrast.

The Wiltshire is a sizeable four-bedroom detached family home with integral double garage.. It’s been designed for a more mature family with growing children in mind.

Incorporating the LEGO-themed bedroom, with strong blues and mustard colours, elsewhere it shows a more sophisticated level of living, as revealed by its bespoke furniture choices and warm, neutral tones and contrasting furnishings and fabrics. This can be seen particularly in the main bedroom with its plush statement headboard, wenge wooden bedsides, oatmeal soft furnishings and crisp white sheets.

The three-bedroom detached Stratford, boasts a striking dining area, with a light wooden dining table surrounded by matching chairs with dark wood frames, and dark wood and glass cabinets providing a functional as well as decorative use.

While the four-bedroom Wentworth, like the other superbly designed show homes, demonstrates comfort and class. In the lounge, for instance, a cream corner sofa with grey boucle and patterned cushions offers a place for the family to gather together, and a contemporary light wooden drawered-unit provides a statement backdrop and focal point for the wall mounted TV.

A chandelier style light fitting adds a touch of opulence, along with an orb-style floor lamp and golden framed oval mirror.

Each show home has its own colour scheme throughout to create fluidity, while contrasting textures and neutral tones reflect elegant but practical living, and all are bang on trend.

Located off Sophia Drive, homes at Willow Fields are close to existing amenities in Great Sankey, Westbrook, Chapelford Village, and Gemini, and just off junction 8 of the M62 for access to Liverpool and Manchester. The new Warrington West train station is also nearby. As well as new homes, the development will also include green open spaces and a children’s play area.

The four fully furnished show homes promote a range of properties that are currently priced from £171,996 o £514,995.

The show homes at Willow Fields are open daily from 10am to 5pm. For more information please visit see here or call 01925 986710.
