Events to help home movers in Flintshire

Castle Green Homes has three developments across the county – Maes y Castell in Abermorddu, Hawthorn Meadows in Buckley and Gladstone Grange in Hawarden.

As many of the enquiries received are from existing homeowners looking to make their next move, the homebuilder is hosting a series of events to guide them through the different ways it can help them sell up and move on.

Part exchange events are taking place on Sunday, August 16 at Maes y Castell in Abermorddu and on Saturday, August 22 at Hawthorn Meadows in Buckley.

As show homes are yet to open at Gladstone Grange, homeowners interested in moving there are invited to visit Trevalyn Place in Rossett on Sunday, August 16 to learn about Easy Move.

Castle Green Homes sales director Sian Pitt explained: “Often when people first enquire about our new homes in Flintshire, they’re in the very early stages of their buying journey. Many people with a house to sell are yet to list it with an agent and perhaps haven’t thought about how long the process from listing to moving could take, which may be months in some cases. We’ve helped dozens of people across North Wales secure a quick sale – either with our Easy Move service where we work with an agent to sell the customer’s property or by taking their home in part exchange. In most cases they’ve been able to move in six to eight weeks.

“Our Easy Move and part exchange events are an opportunity for homeowners to learn more about the support available and which option best suits their situation. Easy Move has no link between the value of the properties being sold or bought, meaning it’s suited to a range of movers, while part exchange is a slick and simple way of moving up the housing ladder. Mortgage advisers will be available during the events to help buyers explore their finance options too, meaning all the support they need will be under one roof.”

Under Easy Move, Castle Green will manage the entire selling process for homeowners looking to move to one of its new homes in Flintshire. This includes, arranging valuations, working with estate agents to ensure a quick sale and even contributing towards their fees.

With part exchange, homeowners essentially trade their current property towards the cost of a new home. They effectively have a guaranteed cash buyer and can remain in their existing property until their home is ready.

Between the three locations, Castle Green has a good choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes available. A small number of properties will be ready to move into this autumn with a host of upgrades included such as flooring, quartz kitchen worktops and turf to the rear garden.
