Explore new homes in Prestatyn before they’re built

Virtual viewings are helping inspire homebuyers in Prestatyn.

Castle Green Homes is building 45 homes at Sŵn y Môr 3.6 acre site on Gronant Road. Properties are currently being sold “off plan” via Peter Large Estate Agents with the aid of digital technology available via the homebuilder’s website and award-winning platform Willow.

Castle Green Homes sales director Sian Pitt explained: “Technology has come a long way since the site of our new homes in Prestatyn was allocated for housing by Denbighshire County Council in 2013. Our website features a 3D map to help buyers understand the layout of the development and where each home will sit within the street scene. Instead of simply viewing a floor plan of each house type, there’s the ability to ‘step inside’ and ‘view’ homes virtually before they’re built with the option to see then furnished and unfurnished.

“It will be next winter before the first homes are ready to move into and yet two eager buyers have already reserved at Swn y Mor. We’d encourage anyone considering moving here to set up a Willow account via our website. With the help of a virtual new homes assistant buyers can explore the options and upgrades available, testing out different kitchen finishes, worktop and flooring combinations to suit their taste and budget wherever and whenever they want to. Effectively Willow creates a digital twin of the customer’s home room by room while we do the hard work in making it a reality.”

The development name Sŵn y Môr translates as “sound of the sea”, reflecting the location, with Prestatyn sands, dunes and promenade all within a mile.

Castle Green is building a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes that look traditional outside, but are bright and modern inside. Current prices range from £219,995 for a two-bedroom Oakley, offering 699 sq ft of living space up to £499,995 for a four-bedroom detached Wiltshire spanning 1,713 sq ft of generous accommodation.

“The range of homes was planned to cater for local housing need and is likely to appeal to a mix of purchasers including first time buyers, families and downsizers,” Sian added.

“They’re being built using sustainably sourced, precision-made timber frames, with generous insultation, and highly efficient central heating which means buyers moving from an older property can look forward to lower energy bills.”
