Launch success for new homes in Hawarden

Tuesday, 02nd June 2026

New homes at a just launched housing development in Hawarden are attracting mainly local interest, Castle Green Homes has revealed.

The homebuilder recently opened a sales centre at its Gladstone Grange development on Gladstone Way.

Dozens of people attended in the first few days and 15 reservations have been secured so far.

Location has been a key driver in the initial success of the development.

Castle Green Homes sales director Sian Pitt explained: “There’s a real buzz about our new homes in Hawarden. Local people in particular have been keen to learn more about the development, the type of homes we’re building and when they’ll be ready to move into. We held a series of preview events before opening the sales centre on site and have had some great feedback.

“We’d taken some early bird reservations, from people keen to secure their preferred property as soon as possible, and have now taken 15 full reservations. Many of our purchasers already live locally and love the neighbourhood.  We’ve taken a reservation from a first-time buyer who’s always lived in the area and is ready to move out of their parents’ property and into their own home. There are also downsizers living nearby who want a home that’s easy to manage and efficient to run. It’s testament to the quality of our homes that someone who owns one of our homes on another development and has reserved here too.”

Current availability at Gladstone Grange includes three and four-bedroom homes, with prices from £320,000.

They are currently being sold off plan, ahead of show homes opening in the summer.

In the meantime, buyers can explore the development and individual properties, with or without furniture virtually via the Castle Green Homes website. By creating a Willow account purchasers can save their favourite properties, test out specification options and upgrades and make appointments with the sales team.

“The digital resources available on our website and via Willow can help bring floor plans to life and help buyers make informed decisions,” Sian added.

“We also understand that viewing a property in real life is a key part of the buying process and have show homes available to view at six developments within a 20-mile drive from Hawarden. Buyers are welcome to visit any of our show homes to help support their buying journey.”

The first homes at Gladstone Grange will be ready to move into in autumn/winter.

While the homes will boast well-equipped kitchens, the surrounding area offers plenty of options for eating out including cafes, cosy pubs and fine dining restaurants.

Close to the A55, M53 and M56, the homes will benefit from easy access to North Wales, Chester, Manchester, and Liverpool.

The sales centre at Gladstone Grange is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
