The 12-acre development has been named Oakley Park, and will be made up of three and four-bedroom detached homes, as well as two and three bedroom semi-detached mews-style properties priced from just over £100,000.
Residents in Ellesmere Port have not had access to a new property development like this one in around five years, so we are over the moon to deliver much needed affordable homes to the area.
Philip Palmer, Land Director for Castle Green, said: “This is an important development for Ellesmere Port, being one of the first private, new home developments for open market sale in the town since 2012.
“We are experiencing incredible demand for new homes across the region and we believe Ellesmere Port is long overdue a significant development featuring quality starter and family homes.
“Part of our proposed development will see us contribute to the improvement of local services and amenities and we also have plans to install new sports pitches for use within the community.”
The £18m development will be constructed in three phases over four years, creating up to 290 jobs, with around 100 in construction.
