New show homes mark progress of Daresbury Garden Village

Monday, 09th September 2024

Eager buyers tried to view show homes in Daresbury weeks before they opened, Castle Green Homes has revealed.

The homebuilder had closed its original show homes and sales centre at Bridgewater View earlier in the summer in readiness for moving into new ones, on phase two of the development.

The new show homes officially open this weekend (September 14 and 15).

Sales director for Castle Green Homes Sian Pitt said: “Building work at Bridgewater View, which is part of Daresbury Garden Village, is progressing well, with dozens of homes now occupied. It’s fast developing into a new community where people love living. The original show homes have been sold and we’ve moved the sales team onto phase two. Over the summer, while we were putting the finishing touches to the new show homes, we had five sets of people trying to view them in just one day. Due to the demand, we initially gave priority to those who’d registered their interest in the homes on phase two. We’ll be celebrating the official public launch this weekend (September 14 and 15) and extending an open invitation to buyers to come and see the new show homes for themselves and the stunning views out over the Bridgewater Canal.”

The new show homes showcase examples of four-bedroom detached designs – the Chatsworth and Wiltshire – plus, a pair of three-bedroom detached properties – the Stratford and Windsor. A four-bedroom Heatherington houses the sales centre.

Bridgewater View offers a good choice of homes, suitable for a variety of buyers and budgets.

Subject to criteria, selected two and three-bedroom homes are available at a discount to market value. Using the scheme a two-bedroom Oakley can be purchased for £172,897 – that’s 70% of the market value. For those who need three-bedrooms, the Highfield is available from £198,797.

Open market prices currently start from £344,995 for a three-bedroom detached Henley, with four-bedroom detached homes available from £399,995.

Construction at Bridgewater View is being overseen by senior site manager Ryan Miller. He was recently highly commended in the Local Authority Building Control North West Building Excellence Awards 2024.

The homes at Bridgewater View are being built just off the A56, with easy access to the M56, putting Warrington, Runcorn, Chester, Altrincham, Liverpool and Manchester all within commuting distance.

In time there’ll be a cycle path to connect to the nearby Science Park and a footpath down to the canal.

The bars and restaurants of Stockton Heath are only 10 minutes away by car, plus there are two golf courses within easy reach – Walton Hall Golf Club and Warrington Golf Club.
