While the Red Lion Penyffordd is a typical local pub serving Sunday lunch pub grub favourite. If you wanted to venture further afield, Penyffordd is not far from Chester where there are a wider selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from.
As a small, family-friendly village, Penyffordd provides a real community feel. There are plenty of social activities including both tennis and football clubs for adults and children, a youth club, bowling, a skate park, allotments, ballroom dancing, pilates and much more. In addition, there are also yearly events including a village carnival, bonfire and firework display, remembrance parade, Santa Dash and Christmas carol concerts.
