A show home is one of the final properties available at a popular housing development in Sefton.
Castle Green Homes launched Orchard Place in Thornton off plan in spring 2023 and opened show homes later that year. Since then, it’s blossomed into a thriving new community and happy homeowners have recommended friends and family join them in living there.
Castle Green Homes sales director Sian Pitt said: “The housing mix at Orchard Place was carefully planned to reflect local need in Thornton and the wider Sefton area. By catering for first time buyers, families and downsizers alike, and, providing high quality, energy efficient homes in a location people want to live in, we’ve been able to achieve a steady sales rate. We’re now counting down the final properties, having sold more than 95% of the homes.
“The show homes have been pivotal, helping buyers experience the layouts and quality and finish we offer, with many buyers replicating the style choices in their own homes. Two of the three show homes have now been sold, but one lucky buyer could move into a readymade property, styled by professional interior designers with the fixtures, fittings and furniture all included. They’ll need to be quick though, as based on the success of Orchard Place to date it won’t be available for long.”
There are three different styles of homes available – the three-bedroom detached Evesham, and Windsor, priced from £370,000 and £470,000 respectively, and the four-bedroom detached Wiltshire, priced from £560,000. One of the two Wiltshire style properties available is the show home.
In the Evesham, the lounge is at the front of the property and leads through to the combined kitchen and dining room, which in turn opens out to the rear garden. A cloakroom completes the ground floor.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom has an en-suite, meaning the family bathroom serves the other two bedrooms.
The Evesham is ready to move into with more than £18,500 worth of upgrades included such as flooring throughout, quartz worktops, wardrobes in two of the three bedrooms and turfed rear garden.
The Windsor is a larger three-bedroom detached home, with feature bay window to the lounge at the front. The combined kitchen, dining and family room spans the rear of the property, with central French doors leading to the garden. A utility is tucked away off the kitchen, plus there’s a cloakroom.
Upstairs, each of the three bedrooms has an en-suite, with the primary bedroom boasting a dressing area too.
The Wiltshire is the most popular of all Castle Green’s designs across its developments.
There’s a lounge with feature bay window at the front; while a combined kitchen, dining and family room, with adjoining utility and cloakroom, spans the rear of the property.
Upstairs, the impressive primary bedroom benefits and en-suite and dressing area. Bedroom two also boasts an en-suite, meaning the family bathroom serves just two bedrooms.
Part exchange is available to help those with a property to sell move to one of the final energy efficient new homes available at Orchard Place.
As the development name suggests, the homes enjoy a leafy setting with public open space, including a play area, offering a central focal point and a place for residents of all ages to enjoy.
The homes are in the catchment area for a range of well-regarded schools. Shops, bars and restaurants are around a mile away in Crosby town centre. Crosby Coastal Park is ideal for getting back to nature and exploring the outdoors as part of an active lifestyle. Liverpool city centre can be reached in under an hour by public transport.
As the development nears a sell-out, the sales centre at Orchard Place will close from May 2. The final homes will then be sold via Castle Green’s Bridgewater View in Daresbury.
