A show home bedroom kitted out with a Wrexham AFC fan in mind has won the attention of home buyers.
Castle Green Homes kicked off sales at Llys y Coed in Rhosrobin off plan before opening show homes in January.
There are four show homes to view, but it’s one of the four bedrooms in the Wentworth that’s hit the target with football fans.
Styled as the bedroom of a Wrexham AFC supporter, it features club memorabilia and wall art acknowledging the club’s status as the oldest in Wales.
Sales director Sian Pitt explained: “We often look to the local area when we’re styling our show homes – we want to make them fun, memorable and relevant to buyers. The homes we’re building at Llys y Coed are just six minutes’ drive or a 30-minute walk from Wrexham AFC’s ground and Castle Green is a long-term sponsor of the club, so it was a natural source of inspiration. The club has a strong standing in the local community and we’ve had some fantastic feedback. They love how we’ve incorporated the club’s history including the 1864 wall art which gives a nod to when the club was founded. It’s a real talking point with visitors.”
Along with the four-bedroom detached Wentworth, which features pops of ochre to add interest throughout the house, there are three other show homes available to view at Llys y Coed.
The three-bedroom semi-detached Marlow has been styled with a Scandi theme, with blush accents, to appeal to first time buyers.
“The primary bedroom merges contemporary lighting with traditional design to create a calming oasis. We’ve thought about how a first time buyer might use the space in this home and so turned bedroom three into a modern dressing area,” Sian explained.
The three-bedroom detached Stratford has been dressed as the home of a young family, with a focus on optimising space in the kitchen and dining room to create a social hub where extended family can be entertained. Using darker colour choices, lightened with warm neutrals, the interior styling of this home makes a statement while remaining elegant. For example, a modern four poster bed creates a focal point in the main bedroom.
In the four-bedroom detached Beaumont the designers have created a timeless family home with a country chic feel. Styled with a neutral palette, olive green tones add an accent to the interior of this home.. Reflecting that many people now work from home for at least part of the week, one of the bedrooms has been styled as an office.
Current prices at Llys y Coed start from £272,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached Marlow.
Homes priced under £300,000 are eligible to be purchased using Help to Buy – Wales. The Government backed scheme offers the chance to secure a new home with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, with the remaining 20% covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years.
Nestled in Rhosrobin village, between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley, and just 10 minutes by car from Wrexham city centre, Llys Y Coed is ideally placed.
Show homes at Llys y Coed are open daily from 10am to 5pm. For more information about the development see https://www.castlegreenhomes.uk/our-developments/north-wales/llys-y-coed.
