Youth teams kitted out thanks to local homebuilder

Three of Mynydd Isa Football Club’s Under 14s teams now have new kits to take them through the next two seasons.

Established back in the 1930s Mynydd Isa Football Club has seen significant growth since and now has nearly 700 players from the youth to veterans’ team.

Kat Bonham, coach and secretary at the club, said: “Thank you to everyone at Castle Green for this kit donation. Sponsoring all three teams will make a big difference to our costs for the next two seasons so we really do appreciate the support.”

Castle Green Homes has begun work to construct 159 new homes on a 13.2-acre site on Well Street, Buckley. Hawthorn Meadows offers a selection of two, three and four-bedroom properties, with current prices from £274,995 to £392,995.

Castle Green Homes sales director Sian Pitt said: “We’re very pleased to be the sponsor of the Under 14s teams and the kits look great. We wish them every success for the season ahead.”

Along with new homes at Hawthorn Meadows, there will also be areas of public open space, including a play area with at least five pieces of equipment.
